No no no thats not how it works.

Here is my guess.

Lets say hot or not has 1,000,000 pics. You type in the url that the 9,363,223rd pic would be on. It would take 9,363,223 and devide it by 1,000,000. Then it would take the remainder and that would be your pic number. Pic 363,223.

Just a guess. The L.O.G.O. language does this when selecting colors.
