Mine gets me along. I just wish I had a 2 Ghz processor instead of an 866 Mhz. Otherwise it's been good ever since I added a little extra RAM (128 MB).

Mid-high like iceman. One of those dells for 499, not the greatest but it didnt cost me anything.

Yes, but they're fuckin amazing.
I've got like a 1200 amd, 192 megs, 64meg agp video.
See what you do is get you a basic package, motherboard/power supply/processor. Get a decent one with at least the standards/agp slot. Then upgrade at your own whim. Cd-rom, Ram, Video, Sound, etc. save money by getting the shit that you actually need.

My comp sucks... (the family comp is an alienware grrr...), it has 450 mhz.
Mine needs to be updated... just an AMD 2200, 256(had 768 but 512 fried)DDR ram, 40gig/120gig harddrives, GF FX5200
I plan to get 1gig+DDR, AMD 3500+, Radeon 9800 probly when I upgrade

dude there aren't even computers that ARE 18k and WHO WOULD SPEND THAT MUCH, GEEZ, the like MOST expensive computer and BEST is like 5000
and i would considered uncapped's computer a high high machine

Athlon 1800+ 1.53ghz. 512 MB Ram. 80gigs. dvd player. 52x burner. Audigy platinum 1 sound board. Radeon 9600xt. It gets the job done and I havent had a problem with any games yet.

I'm upping as soon as PCI Express motherboards come out, but there's no point getting a new card until then, in my opinion.
