I just found a rare ethereal thunder maul and I was wondering if I can do anything with it. Originally it had no sockets but then I added one with my act 5 quest. Is there any way I can add more sockets or just make it into an elite weapon? It does 55-309 damage with only 15 ed so I though I should ask before selling it. My picket program grabbed for me while I was doing pindleskin in hell...it was one of the ethereal weapons that I added to my pickit ini. I was looking around at the arreat summit website and I saw this horadric cube recipe...
3 Standard Gems (normal) and 1 Socketed Weapon (Any Type) = 1 Socketed Magic Weapon (of same type)
Can i increase the number of sockets with this formula? Any help would be much appreciated.
