is loot possible?

i heard if some one dies in a hardcore game his friends can loot his body so they can give him his items back,is this possible?

Yes, it is possible. If you enable the loot option. This can be found in teh same screen that you accept party invitations from. If forgot how to get there though >_<. However, you will only get your chars items back. Nothing else.

You can't really loot someone without their permission.

Basically, before someone dies, he will have to first enable the loot option via the party menu (press P). Check the box where it says loot enable, and then... when the character dies, you can retrieve items from his corpse.

You can only get the his equipments and nothing else. No charms, no cube, no stash.

So basically, just tell your friends to enable loot when they join the game just in case of some... sudden death.
