I liked it. There was somewhat of a diablo clone in there too and a man having a big delusion that he is a cow. If you did his quest you could get the cow armor lol.

Yeah Played it - If you got the Godly armor, King sword of speed, and that skull helm you could pwn everything. And getting that stuff was easy -people would give it to you for free cause duping was so easy.

Bought the expansion - it sucked -Blizzard had farmed out the expansion to - I think it was Sierra Games and thats why it blew donkey so bad - Has Sierra ever put out a decent game?

Yes, hellfire was made by sierra and like i said i liked it. Maybe cause most ppl didnt know that there was some hidden feature like a secret character and some other quests it was also possible to play multiplayer.

Me and a friend owned the living SHIT out of Diablo 1...
Also, by "Legit." I mean that I only used items that I found off of monsters that I killed myself. I never once accepted an item (or traded for an item) from a player who wasn't physically sitting next to me. (We would have Diablo LANs sometimes :) ).

Got expansion.
Made a monk, a bard, and a barbarian. (easter egg)
Didn't like any of them besides the monk. You know the monk had cleaving damage with the staff right? PWN.

I played it single player but not online, on fridays they would let us play it at school.

I never got really serious into it though, I just remember being able to cast firewall, and getting a hunter's bow was good.

I didn't know all characters could do that. I thought it was a special feature for the monk since he supposedly wasn't adept at anything else.


Also, firewall and bows were useless at higher levels in Diablo. The only things that are worth using at higher levels is fireball, chain lightning, and the occasional weapon for the monsters who are immune to all.

Not all characters, just the 3 from hellfire. Monk, bard and barb
Monk with staff, bard when wielding 2 weapons and barb i think it didnt matter what kind of weapon.

I got it when I bought this set thingy that came with d1 but When I played it I hated it so yeah. I started on d2 classic in 1.08 and went from there.

D1 was a hacking contest, just like D2 ( Open ) Completely hacked... I believe 99% of the public was using that "Doom GAze" Trainner that sucked ass. Crashed the game every 20 minutes. I enjoyed it tho. My friend knows the guy who's voice you hear at the end after you kill diablo... And I had that staff too, I think. "Angels Staff of Apcolypse" Or however you spell it. Can't really ask about "Main character" I probably changed my character many times with those hacks... I still play D1 tho.
