Looking for Pally help

I've recently seen a lot of pallies seriously whooping some ass. I made a cold sorc, and it was really sweet through normal. Then, through nightmare, it was great. I get to hell difficulty, and I can barely kill a damned thing.

Example: Act2 getting the ammy.

The door to level 2 is clogged with those damn serpents. Myself (a lvl 72 cold sorc with firewall), a 71 and a 78 Barb couldn't do shit. However, a lvl 82 pally went in and solo'd the entire bunch of them. He even had his mf gear on...

I'm not much for PvPing right now. I really just want to whoop some monster ass. Is bessed hammer the skill of choice?

What should my build be? I need suggestions on stats, skills, and possibly some gear. (The gear is not that big of a deal, however, since I'm a poor mofo and won't be able buy much.)

Hammerdins are the best Pallys out there. They can do insane amounts of damage, and can damage everything. Nothing, from what I've seen is immune to it. Even Magic Immunes aren't, which I found very odd. Maybe I was going crazy, but I was still taking down Magic Immunes with my Hammers.

Just look up some old threads on these builds, they are fairly easy to make.

i think there are some down there with new builds but just max hammers, vigor, blessed aim, concentration and one into holy shield

Old threads he meant threads around 1-2 weeks ago, I have seen many that explain hammerdin skills, including synergy.

Right, there are plenty of threads in the New Archives of Diablo General Chat, which only encompasses threads pertaining to 1.10 and later. All the pre-patch threads are located in a sub-forum of that section, locked away from all but for viewing purposes only.
