What is hardcore good for?

Hardcore is fun, you need to always be careful, and it gives you some sort of challenge.

And ya like Senesia said, you always need to be careful, there are no power up level there, so you spend lots more time in the character than solfcore.

You mean power up level like in cows or what Ganga?

Cos yeah you can boost and leech same as softcore.

Only thing different is that you are mortal and you have to learn to play properly instead of just Ripping every 2 mins. Also dueling is a great Buzz and the constant threat of losing your char is more like gaming on the edge.

O ya and the best is PK, now ears are finally worth to keep :).

Yeah boosting acts and cowing is the same as in HC as SC, from lvl 1 - 63 in 2 hours.

PK comes into it's own in HC.

i played sc for a while and then started playin hc and id say hc is 3 times as fun, just pking and pretty much starting from scratch in the beginning, dyin sucks bad though

Actually...PK is very honorable if it is done legitimately. I mean, it isn't that hard to "ESC" "SAVE & EXIT" when you see the XX expressed hostility toward you message.

It does suck when the PK depends on some sort of exploit in the game when he carries out the killing...

PK makes HC, with out it every one would be 99 and it just adds to the challenge.

Only hack that I think is destroying in HC is drop hacking ie: the old Druid drop hack, because there was no way to avoid it, all others there are ways to avoid.
