ok seriously, after rumaging through this shit, i have no clue whats gonna happen to the market. I'd definately ditch some of the things that obviously cant compare to the new items. Some of these items are even listed under the catagory "uber". A lot of these new uniqes blow the old shit out of the water so we shall see what happens.

arreat summit is now rolledback.. this seems to be because this info was not ment to get out (some rumours say it maybe fake info that was poted.. unlikely but...) as it was rolledback it implicates that the patch is still not coming out soon. They did say info was goin to be released at E3. that is approx 13th may so see what happens then

i actually couldt get it all up before blizzard took it down, a lot of the really cool stuff didnt make it up. NONE of this info was actually supposed to be released. Thats only a fraction of the stuff and of whats to come.

Personally i think enhanced damage, chrushing blow and all that str on a pair of legit unique gloves is pretty nice.

well thats the point of callin it d3! a new game all together!! in any case i think the new items rock! some are really powerful while others jus...plain suck! the new charms rule! who wouldnt like them?? and its said that the small charm is some sort of reward..theyre uncertain of what it is like u need to kill all act bosses, maybe complete all quests, maybe kill all monsters in one act! who knows? also its very probable that blizz realses these 'bad buggy items' to stop hackers frm makin real bugged items! think bout it! if u get legit why hack?

You'll also notice that the Runes pictured are actually Um, Ohm, Ist, and Dol, so either the graphics for Vex and Um have been switched, or something is wrong with this picture. Several runes changed names and stats in v1.09, and this may happen again in v1.10?

Nope, GFrazier corrected that on a later post. The runeword works in any shield, apparently the + 2 to Paladin skills were already on the shield before it was socketed.

Arreat Summit (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/) has released two new screenshots from 1.10, a new Assassin skill system and new monster in World Stone Keep:

The first picture is showing how Phoenix Strike is getting attack bonus from other skills. You can stack bonus damage from other skills even if you dont use it.

This Assassin is using a full Natalya's Odium set, nice looking transparent/etheral effect. And we got some new monster, a Sand Raider which are usullly in Act 2 only, has travelled to Act 5 and also a Sand Magus. There are surely new enemies everywhere now.

Blizzard has amended this Bnet forum post with a short FAQ about the v1.10 patch. The newly-modified question is as follows:

Q: Will I have to get the new 1.10 Set Items to get the new bonuses?
A: Existing set items will not have the new 1.10 partial item bonuses, but will enjoy the new full set item bonuses. Only those set items discovered in 1.10 games will have the new partial set bonuses.
So basically you will get the full set bonuses with existing items, but must find new v1.10 set items to get the new hidden item/partial set bonuses. For example, take the projected v1.10 version of Trang-Oul's Avatar Set.

With a v1.09 Trang's equipped in a v1.10 game, you would get the full set bonuses, but you would not get the three +15% Mana Regen bonuses, or the ability to cast Fire Balls, Fire Walls, or Meteors. You would need to have equipped two v1.10 items to get the FireBall bonus, three for the FireWall bonus, and four for the Meteor bonus. The fifth item in the set could be the v1.09 verison you already have, so at least you don't need to find every set all over again. Of course if you play ladder chars, you'll be starting from scratch anyway.

This new info came about from an odd source, actually. Me. I was in the Bay Area last week, and was lucky enough to get an invite for a full day of play testing v1.10 at Blizzard North. While there I was able to talk at length with the v1.10 lead designer and he was able to explain the whole set item partial bonus thing that so many players kept asking about. And yes, I was able to play several hours of v1.10 with a variety of high level test characters, and yes, it's got a lot of great changes. Unfortunately for you guys, I signed an NDA and Blizzard has requested that I not release any new info about the patch... until the patch is released. I can't even give an ETA for when that might occur, but as we reported from E3, there will be a FanSite Chat in the next few weeks, and at that chat Blizzard will be releasing a lot of new v1.10 info, including an updated release date estimate. Blizzard has posted some new info, that mana pots will be sold by vendors in v1.10. You can see a screenshot of blue potions for sale, if you require visual aid to imagine what an NPC window would look like with blue potions next to the red ones.

This change was in place during the play testing session I was a part of last week, but I didn't buy any, since the Sorceress builds I played had sufficient mana and found plenty of blues on the ground to keep going with. It would probably be of more use for low/mid level chars who need the mana to level up faster, but I don't remember if the normal difficulty vendors sold blues, since we played almost exclusively high level test chars in hell.

Horadic Cube: Upgrade Unique


We’ll be adding many new Horadric Cube recipes to Diablo II with the upcoming 1.10 patch. Some of the new recipes allow you to upgrade your Unique weapons. For instance, 1 Ral Rune + 1 Sol Rune + 1 Perfect Emerald + 1 Normal Unique (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/images/other/normal.jpg) Weapon results in an Exceptional (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/images/other/exceptional.jpg) version of that weapon with the same Unique Item bonuses. Using this recipe, an Axe will be transformed into a Cleaver! This is useful for upgrading the damage of your Unique Weapons. You can use another recipe to upgrade to the elite version: 1 Lum Rune + 1 Pul Rune + 1 Perfect Emerald + Exceptional Unique Weapon results in the Elite (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/images/other/elite.jpg) version of that weapon with the same Unique Item bonuses. Using these new formulae, players can create new special versions of Unique items that were not previously possible. Players can then further customize these weapons by adding a socket to them and their own favorite gem, jewel, or rune.

These screenshots are from the latest release candidate for the 1.10 patch of Diablo II that is currently being run through our QA testing procedure. Although we do not have a release date set for this patch, we are working hard to get it out as soon as possible.

hmmm...ya not june2..its already june25 and no patch i think..i have only signed on every ones in a while...and...when it does come out..we all should move to one server...

and then we can help each other out..make little teams of aobut 8 so then that team of 8 could work together.

this would let us get ahead of the new economy...its not like youll care about your old characters..just get a new account to whatever server to play on for zel people..ill make a thread/poll for people who play d2 to vote on which server.

So, if he makes a necro, which I think he will be, I'm going to have to keep necro stuff for him, but I'll be willing to share the rest that doesn't fit my character with the rest of Zelaronies.
