I was wonderin which merc does the most damage with the best weapon they can equipt ( zon merc wf, barb merc fury) vs another player

Uh... I should try this.... On open though. Give a barb merc, Ao_New_ith, X-Factor, and uh... 120/45max helm. And same for an act 2 offensive merc. With who knows what pike...cruel war pike of evic?... and the same gear as barb.

actually i think the might merc is the best, i gave him 160/60 120/45 and an eth 199% spire of honor. he did around 4k w/o might on and thats plenty for me. you can close this thread.

vs another player, you wouldnt weant a barb or a act 2 merc.
The only real viable pvp merc is a rouge. and obviously, a wf with 120/45 and 160/60 would be tops<<but id still go with dr over mroe dmg in a pvp merc

I had an ethereal ccvoe it did something like 1100 max dmg with a 160/60 max and 120/45 max on a might merc he did something like 12k dmg..

What is the merc used for? Just wanting to do dmg? speed? duels? what?

just the enhanced dmg of might mainly... not very good of a tank at times.

mercenary is used to speed along leveling or fighting in a way that keeps you safe **holyfreeze keeping enemies far away **might adding damage **barb stunning opponent so they don't hit back **rogue ranged bow attack user **a3 merc elemental ranged attacker etc.
