Only reason you see all these new bugged items is because people are *BORED*. After wf's became fairly common, and any decently rich person could easily afford one, the game became boring. The result? Make more items! They need something else to do, since they have no control over the game code directly, they do the best they can to make new items to have fun with....

God I hate arrogant duelers... If you want to be in a videogame competition and have bragging rights, play a FPS. Duels in D2 are completely pointless, as they require little skill, but mainly time (to find items and to aquire the knowledge of what is the "perfect build").

This game is dead, and has been dead for some time. I cannot bring myself to play the game for more than 30 minutes a day, and dueling adds absolutely no fun (not because I'm "skillless" but because public duels piss me off (iths, bugged items, assholes, etc.) and I don't have the time for arranged duels, and even there you're likely to find an asshole of some sort). B.net people suck, and this game is addicting, but sucks. It's pulled me back to it 3 times now, but at some point I always end up like this, realizing how horribly repetitive it is and how much I hate the Diablo II population of b.net.
