I was just checking out some of the posts there when I saw GFrazier going ape shit with posting there about the Patch. I think he got up to like 15-20 posts last night, answering all kinds of questions. It might be worth while to check it out, but I can't get a good grasp on what the Patch situation is from it...
I get the feeling that either one of two things are happening:
(1) He is finally mentioning the patch to the public because it is very close to being released.
(2) The patch is a long ass time away. He did finally mention the patch, but in one of his first posts, he said, "I have heard that a patch is in the process." Or something along those lines, which leads me to believe that they actually are just starting to get serious with it, which means it is still many a months away...
I know these are the obvious options, but I guess to further clarify myself, either the patch will be here within the next few weeks, or don't expect it for quite some time now... My guess owuld be somewhere along the lines of 6 months...
I hope not, but what do you think?

I'm not exactly sure what his position is with Blizzard, but I know he is extremely high up in the ranks. Something like the owner, President, CEO, game creator, etc. Very powerful over there!

You are incorrect. He is quite simply their "web specialist", which means he has forum control and some minor input on the webpage design. All he knows is what he's told from the higher-ups via e-mail.

He's a real asshole, and a moron in general. Intolerant, bigoted, hardcore republican, and a christian fundie.

He sounds a lot like me minus the christian thing.
Yeah 6 months atleast, You'd think they would just release the damn thing, who cares if its not finished, thats what 1.10a, 1.10 B, etc. are for.

Probably never, because they will be sidetracked by one of their other more important projects... Such as WoW and so on.

Wow, I totally didn't notice :-/
Blah, all we can do is just sit around E-bay, buy our '1337' items and jerkoff to amazons, well nevermind.
Hopefully it will come out unexpectingly and all of the ebay dupers will lose all that shit they spent their money on, it'll be so great. But about 3 weeks after 1.10 comes out, more d2 item sites will come out, and the whole process will happen again.

Really? Where did you get that information? Because it is utterly wrong. GFrazier was hired because of his old WarCraft2 fansite. All he does is manage the forums and the official game guides, which are littered with mis-information.
