So Blizzard has been doing the whole "new splash screen every day" thing they did before releasing starcraft. They seem to be intentionally embedding clues in them this time, however. http://www.diabloii.net/articles/667...-image-teasers That explains it all pretty well. Also, they make the point that Blizzard has done this in the past, but only before game announcements.
