is it true, that CS players are all dumbnuts and suckers? You know. everybody says CS players can'T behave have to grow up.

I played for a short time CS online and happend to me only those "y0u sux I 0wn" people. I also saw on other boards peeps like that. thats why I quit CS. But are they all so or did I just got into the worsest communities???

The biggest problem with CS is the people that play it 99% of the people seem to be abusive 14 year olds. It was a bit of a shock having first been involved with a mature friendly online gaming community (Quake 2). I blame Half-Life for bringing online gaming to the masses

Now I only bother playing with my clan mates, and that's always a good laugh. You just have to learn to ignore everyone when you're on a public server :/

Atleast the leet language wasn't invited in HL/CS. JeffK is responsible (aka CliffyB, Epic Games lead designer), who used to spend some time in an irc channel called #unrealed with me, Balton and Wanderer...

I play CS all the time and almost never have this problem. Just find some clan server or a server where there is a mod. Also a server that uses the newest cheat-death and that cheat scanning anticheat method. Put those together and you will usually have a good game. I dont know how you could quit the game because of the way people talk...do you really force yourselfs to read EVERYTHING everyone says and take everything so literally that it offends you?
