Crazy shizzy. They're expecting to find some animal that feeds off the scorpions and such down in there .

Watch a terrorist bomber blow it up.

The scorpions pretend to be dead and then burrow into human skulls.

Very cool. Someone should develop a powerful magnetic field, have it surround an isolated space with a few select species, and make it "speed up" time greatly in the confined space through means of general relativity. Five million years of evolution in mere seconds.

Or maybe it would just slow down time instead? Sheesh, it's been too long since physics class.

We get GIANT scorpions that destroy whole cities, and we have to call Godzilla to come fight them, and then get Mothra to send Godzilla back until a test nuke wakes him up again?

Interesting that - undisturbed ecosystem.

How long do you give it before it's killed off by tourists?
