Speed Drawing I

Posted 2003-12-07, 11:51 AM
I came across yet another speed drawing thread last night at Sijun with some pretty remarkable artists, so I thought I could as well start a thread here. Just draw really fast, be it pencil, brush, tablet or mouse, and post the results here. The theme for this thread is "evil". Keep the time for your work down to an hour, tops.

The benefit about drawing fast is that you learn more, pretty much. You learn to simplify things without losing the point behind what you're drawing. Tai is definitely the right person when it comes to knowledge about speed drawing, at least from this board.

Anyway, here's my contribution. I'd love to see yours too.

About 25 minutes this time. I gotta up my speed and drawing skills a lot, but hell, I'm having fun:

Something I doodled about a year ago. Maybe 10 minutes as well, including the color added.

Yes, I know the blood looks funky. And yes, I know it's on lined paper.

*shrug* Meh.

This one goes with my last picture. Drawn around the same time. Less than 10 minutes, I think.
