Reply

I always wanted to know what this song was. I hear it on the radio and on the internet but have never heard who sung it. I remember the first line or two. it was something like "This is my last resort.........Suffaction no breathing. Dont give a f**k if I ever stop breathing." Please somebody help me i really want to find out who it is so that I can buy there CD and find out more about them. Thanks.

Oh God, do not buy that album. Spend your money on something good. Like Soilwork. Buy Soilwork's new album. You'll like it, trust me. Everybody likes it.

Or Rammstein's "mutter" album. Seriously though, Last resort and Some song that goes "She loves me not" are the only good songs on that cd. Just burn it from a friend or dl it, its not worth buying, as raziel said.

It looks like you are right. Everyone likes Soilwork. I have looked at some of their lyrics 'Song of the Damned' 'Steelblade Suicide' 'Shadowchild' how many CD's do they have because now I want to buy their CD's or should I just buy certain ones?

Buy Figure Number Five and Natural Born Chaos if you can. The songs you mentioned were good, but two of those were from another album and "Song of the Damned" is most certainly not the best song on Chaos.

If you can download mp3s, find the following songs. I'll also list which album they're off of:

Distortion Sleep (Figure Number Five)
Rejection Role (Figure Number Five)
Departure Plan )Figure Number Five)

As We Speak (Natural Born Chaos)
Black Star Deciever (Natural Born Chaos)
Follow The Hollow (Natural Born Chaos)

If those songs don't make you run out and buy those CDs immediately then I will be genuinely shocked. I would start with Figure Number Five and Natural Born Chaos if you can afford it as well. After that, you might want to consider picking up A Predator's Portrait.

You should give them a try anyway. I know you're more of a rap guy, but like I said, everybody likes Soilwork. I know people that loathe heavier stuff like them (techno geeks, rap fans, classic rock purists) that say Soilwork is friggin' badass. If anything, I'd recommend giving "Distortion Sleep" a try. If you don't like it, I'll be honestly surprised.

Albums like "Thugz and Harmony" scare me, rock doesn't really.

Yeah, I am definitely one of those people. I wouldn't say classic rock purist, but I'm close.

I'm a techno geek who also enjoy quality heavy metal, classic rock, and the occasional 80's pop song. Country however, deserves death.

I'll give it a try if you say so. Quite honestly, there is very little heavy metal that I like, but I'll give it a try. Only thing is, I can't use p2p because the RIAA sent me some warning letter. If you could give me a link to a web site that I could download that stuff from, that would be fabulous.

Well, considering that I'm on a slow-ass connection at the moment, and I'm strapped for time, I can't really go hunting for URLs. If I was you, I'd try to find the website for Nuclear Blast Records or Soilwork's homepage. You'd probably have more luck with Nuclear Blast's official website, though.

Soilwork is pretty good. I'm in love with their music, minus the vocals. But nothing beats my favorite rock album of all time, Reveille - Laced. It will blow you away. Well, it might not, but it sure as hell blew me away.

EDIT:

The new In Flames cd is fucking great too. Definately check that shit out.

The new In Flames is pretty sweet, but I don't think I like it more than their last one, Reroute To Remain. But, regardless, the new one kicks ass.

Dude, how can you not like Soilwork's vocalist? That guy is a fucking monster, and he does all of the vocals by himself. No backup singers doing the clean vocals, it's all Bjorn Strid.
