Final Fantasy or Chrono Series?
Reply

Most definately for me it's the FF series. Chrono just never apealed to me. I don't know why. I just like FF 10X more than I like Chrono.

I like Chrono Trigger more.If there was a new game+ in ff games then they probably would be better.

Chrono trigger is a pretty good game considering the fact it is old. chrono cross not as good. FF's were abit above chrono and still are.

the way you said that it seems like you don't like old games much. You have to admit some of the ff games are below Chrono Trigger.

What's the Chrono Cross difference from Chrono Trigger, story-line-wise?

Chrono Cross takes place after Chrono Trigger(I guess you could say, although with all the time slipping I dunno really.)

Really, I don't know why we've got to choose between either of them. I can play any of them whenever I want. I like them both.

I absolutely loved Chrono Trigger. It's one of my favourite games to date. The snow world was an especially nice touch. Is Chrono Cross equally nice in a lot of ways, or... Well, what differs?

It doesn't have the same feel as Chrono Trigger. I myself only got it because I thought it would be like Chrono Trigger, but it's really different.

Chruser, Chrono Cross is amazing. The story is brilliantly written, the art direction is phenomenal and it's just a blast to play. I'd highly recommend picking it up.

I got it packaged with FFIV when I rented it. I didn't see the greatness about it. But that's just the way some people are.

When I started playing it I was expecting more than I got right off the bat. That's probably why I didn't like it.

Chrono Trigger was the best RPG on the SNES, but FF7 and 9 were far better than Chrono Cross (not that is wasn't a bad game).

Hmm, I'd go towards FF just because there's more games and more variety due to that.

I'm torn between Chrono Trigger and Secret of Evermore as best RPG on SNES.

yea, chrono trigger is still an awsome game. But their r games that r a lot worse and a bit better then. I never really noticed but in Chrono Trigger is there a lot of crappy translations in it like FFVII?? Cause FFVII was translated by bi-lingul Japanese English people and published by SONY so the text never got edited properly.

I haven't noticed any particularly bad translations in CT.

I didn't either, at least not as bad as FFVII.

The translation in CT is nearly flawless. I'm sure that there might be one or two mistakes, though.

There was no excuse for FF7 having such an awful translation. FF6 came out three years prior and the translation was phenomenal. Just another reason why FF7 is most certainly not the "greatest game ever made," like so many Sephiroth-addicts want you to believe.

I do think Final Fantasy 7 is one of the greatest games ever made but I am not a Sephiroth addict.
