Welcome.

You know, I actually didn't believe you were from Kyrgyzstan, because I've never even heard of the place, but you were telling the truth. I went to a website and checked your IP address for myself.

For anyone else who was wondering:

Hey, hey! If I recall, Kyrgyzstan is primarily Muslim. If so, Allahu Akkbar to you.

I think, with no ignorance intended, that anything ending with -stan can be assumed primarily Muslim.

Your information isn't correct. Kyrgyzstan is a secular and non-national state? which has a lot of faith. I am a russian, for example. Kyrgyzstan was a part of Soviet Union.
Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyrgyzstan for mor information.

In the first paragraph of that Wikipedia article, it says "According to July 2005 estimates, the population was 5,264,000 with the majority (76.1 percent) identified as Muslims."

Sounds like his information is pretty correct :P

Not entirly. This information don't reflect religion structure of population. Of course majority nation in Kyrgyzstan is kyrgyzis who practice a muslim religion. But not radical islamizm so "allah akbar" phrase is annoying in this context. Muslim's welcoming speech is "assalam aleykum".
I repeat I am russian. There are a lot af nations in Kyrgyzstan (about 80).
