I dont see much of people as in I have never seen a person smoke outside of the smoking section. That might have to do with my location, small town minnesota is more conservitive than many places.
I think it would be a hastle to piss off a drunk guy ten times a night to make him go out and smoke. I forsee violence.

That drunk guy is just a ticking time bomb then. OFF WITH HIS HEAD
Smoking should be banned in any eating place, but should be allowed in pubs that don't serve food. After all, your vision of a pub is a smoky place with guys sat drinking and chattering.

A pub isn't a pub without the smoke.
I don't goto "pubs" so I wouldn't know much on the topic. However there are people that enjoy alcohol that don't want to inhale a nice crisp cloud of smoke.
One persons rights cannot overrule another's. You chose to smoke, we didn't. I do agree it shouldn't be banned because prohibition of anything is silly unless it's something extremely dangerous.
I would have to question whether or not second hand smoke is or isn't extremely dangerous. Using your logic smoking would have to be banned if found to be extremely dangerous. So i guess thats where I think the arguement lies: a person's definiton of "dangerous".
