You can't seriously nominate The Unforgiven without mentioning its sequel (which is a much better song).

Say it ain't sooooooo-ooooo-woa-oo-woaa....

God I love weezer.

Bohemian Rhapsody and Stairway to Heaven are probably the best songs of all time. Stairway wins though, because it took like 5 years to write/record.

That's right folks, simply nominate the best song you can think of, and do state why you like it so much.

Do keep the conversation on-topic, or I might have to clean some replies out.
When I think of my favourite group all the ones that come to mind are dead ones. I think my favourite had to be Nirvana. More Specificaly his non radio shit. If u want to hear some chill ass grunge just get a hold of "Big Cheese" The thing that has always kept me hooked on nirvana, is the amazingly simple but so meaningful guitar. Its simple but not cluttered like other rock, Kurt Cobain's voice is one of the more original ones ive hear. I just think its such a shame that someone with the musical genious of Lennon and lyrical capabilities of McCartney cobined into one should have left us so early.

There are too many good songs to think of..my personal favorite of all time is Foreplay/Long Time by Boston.

Basically a lot of songs by the following groups could qualify as the best songs ever:

Led Zeppelin, The Who, Aerosmith, Boston, Styx, ELP (Emerson, Lake, and Palmer), Rush, Foreigner, Queen, Yes, and so many more that I'm probably forgetting.

My name is menstrual chunks because it sounds funny like "FuriouslyMasturbatingGrandmother" or "AnalSuprise" Its just primitive humor that relies on human bodily functions like pooing menstruating ect.

I think that Baby Got Back, by Sir Mix-A-Lot has to be nominated. It has a killer beet, and the song is so addicting. It may not have the cult following that other songs have, but it is excellent.
