Tired of high pings, well for 56k'ers try this:

go into your ArmyOps.ini file in the system directory of your armyops folder and find the lines

[Engine.Player]
ConfiguredInternetSpeed=10000

for 56k modem change it to this

[Engine.Player]
ConfiguredInternetSpeed=2600

Forbroadband users play around with deffernt numbers from 3000 to 15000 because of the diff of speeds of cable and dsl in diff areas its up to you to find a good number.. I have fast cable and with it set to 10000 i get 40's ping or soo on average

Make a backup of the file first as a precaution!

why is it that if you have a cable modem you need to set the internet speed to a higher rate then that of using a 56k... shouldnt it be the other way around?

I got this from the official AA forum and many many people have said it works.. now I dont have 56k so i cannot verify but from messing around with the numbers 10000 was optimal for me as a cable user, when i tried 2600 it was laggier i dunno just was

no cause 50 ks r like 1000 of the cable cause cable slows the comp down like 30 % of its original speed
