Warped Tour '08 - FL

Well, this summer. Actually July 13th, 2008! The following morning after my fucking kegger birthday party (which was a fucking blast) and staying up until about 5 in the morning shitfaced from hell, and having to get back up at 8 in the morning (hour and a half drive+stopping for sunscreen gas drinks, whatever) I was fucking TRASHED. Regardless, we got down to Elkton, Florida (Just west of St Augustine) in about an hour, and our group consisted of about 15 people or so, and it was an amazing concert.

There were 3 main stages, and a few off stages. A few local bands were playing, namingly Evergreen Terrace had the main stage (from Jacksonville,Fl) and played a very, very good show. The mosh pit was fucking intense. We lit off a few smoke bombs in the middle of the crowds which I can't seem to find the pictures of. Also, As I lay Dying played an excellent show, and I was boosting people to crowd surf almost the whole time.

I am almost positive I almost passed out several times from the extreme fucking heat and humidity combied with still having a huge amount of alcohol in my system, but all was well I kept pretty well hydrated and spent about 20 bucks on drinks alone for myself.

Very fun, if you ever have a chance to go to a Warped Tour when they kick the next tour off next year, I'd definately recommend it. You may like it more than you think.

Nice i went to warped tour when they were here in Canada, Story Of The Year & Protest The Hero were pretty sick.

That's a pretty good line-up to say the least. We have a local concert coming up in early November, called PlanetFest (9) this year. It's going to be sick. Shinedown, Hinder, PoM is apparently going to be there and of course Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.

I think i might have created a thread about warp tour last year. Thats when i went and it was awesome. Huge bands were there including,

Alkiline Trio
Straylight Run

There where others but i cant seem to remember. If you look up my name and old threads created, you can see who else was there.





On another note, who were the headliners, i couldnt tell from that picture.

Headliners were: Gym Class heroes. As I lay dying. Evergreen Terrace (awesome band from Jax)... and a few others, Kate Perry was there, but Gym Class was the headliner.

As I lay dying and ET we're simply fucking amazing. The mosh pits were amazingly .. awesome.
