i havent played this game yet but someone had told me that u have to pay monthly to play it, is this true and if so how much is it monthly?

that would be my only regret to buying this game, having to pay monthly, i dont think they should have done it, they made enough money with the MASS amount of people that bought it

Well my thoughts are that Blizz saw how much other games were making by being payed for and wanted to make some more money.

No, not really. I'm sure that a large percentage of people who bought D2 never or rarely play online, while WoW you have to play online; also the server capacity differences between an MORPG and an MMORPG are vastly different.

well i was gonna buy it for my lil brother for christmas, but now i have to go and buy him a lame ass gamecube or ps2 game instead because im just not gonna spend 14$ a month on him when i dont have a job at the time
