I was pretty sure I'd replied to this... ah well.

That's a pretty interesting article. I wonder if it would be possible to do the same thing with other animals... or possibly humans? Don't know why you'd want to, but it'd be a great party trick, "Heya babe, look at me. I can cut my head off, and live!"

No, I had a theory a long time ago that chicken are too stupid to realize they're head has been decapitated, hence they live until they do realize it. But this one must be retarted.

How do you choke a chicken? They've not really got necks once you've lopped the head off... no matter how badly you do it.

Ahaha...Lenny just broke my brain.

As for the article...is it really that hard to cut off a chicken's head properly?

Btw, if it doesn't have a neck how does it even have a brain stem? Figured those would have to be at the neck if not higher x_X.

Maybe the brain is really compacted in the front of the head - if it is then there is more than enough room for a brain stem.

I thought that was funny. I have been to a farm where they do kill chickens and saw they guy inject something into the chicken so he could kill it. Also, if u want to see how to really kill a chicken, well turkey for that matter, watch the South park Episode where Timmy gets Gobles in the play. Funny shit.

You know, I really doubt even half of you read this entire article because this is much more amazing then you make it out to be.

"Not quite sure what to do with his by now loose head, on the first night after the decapitation Mike slept with it under his wing"

That is crazy. He also would still try to crow and would hop on fences and shit, with no head.

That'd be weird...listening to it try to crow, but it'd only come out as gurgled nonsense.
