Pokemon gold version. I loved that game so much then when my GBC got a broken screen, I could play the game perfectly fine without ever looking at what i was doing. Just by sound.

Wow, I had the second post in this thread from 2003. I'm still 95% sure my first game was either Sonic or something on the Genesis. I never was really into games before that, 'twas my first console.

My first 'computer' game was either Oregon trail, or Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego .. good times. I think I got hooked after that

Heh, I remember there were several different Carmen Sandiego games. Where in the USA, Where in the World, Where in Time. I remember playing Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego on my 4 color CGA.

My first computer games were probably the shareware ones that came on 5.25" disks with computer magazines back in the 80s. I remember Kingdom of Kroz and Dr. Seeptite pretty well.

I remember when Doom came out, it was so amazing. I still play Doom, using an OpenGL port, jDoom.

teehee watching my older siblings opening an SNES on Christmas is probably my first memory xD I think the first game I played was The Lion King for SNES, not 100% sure as I was somewhere around 4 years old I think >.< it was either that or a Mario game
