Exclamation Pi is now a rational number!

I have no idea if this website is just bullshitting or if they figured out how to successfully masturbate to rational and irrational numbers, but they supposedly prove that Pi is a rational number.

Now, I am not highly educated in mathematics, and to tell you the truth I didn't even bother reading through the entire page, so I'm looking for someone to call their bluff or verify it! *cough* Chruser *cough* WW *Cough*

What the Hell's a rational number?

Isn't it impossible to proove Pi is anything accept Pi, because it never ends??

It's pure BS. Their "proofs" rely on breaking the laws of mathematics.

A rational number is one that can be expressed as a ratio of two integers. For instance, 1.25 is rational since it is 5/4. 1.3267 is a rational number as it is 13267/10000. 1.99999 (nines repeating) is a rational number as it is 18/9 or 2/1 or simply 2. Irrational numbers are those which can not be expressed as a ratio of two integers. Sqrt(2), pi, e, are all irrational.

Pi can be calculated analytically as an infinite sum. When we calculate pi for millions of digits it is being done analytically, not by getting increasingly precise measurements of the circumference and the diameter of a circle.
