One year in English we had to group up and write our own fantasy story after reading Beowulf. We could also include drawn pictures for extra points. I wrote the story and my group drew the half-assed pictures. I'm the one who volunteered to write it though, since I couldn't trust them with anything plot related. Which is sad, since one of them was my cousin and the other was one of my best friends...and even sadder considering that the pictures they drew look like they were drawn by a kindergartener...

I should really re-write the story sometime...

If I were in the same situation, then I too would take over the writing.

Never let anyone else write what the writer can do better.
