I thought that's how it was played..

Micro means small.. that explination was horrid... i didnt know what it ment before and i dont know now. Sounds to me like your trying to say it means being good..

Er.... ok. Listen. Say you have 3 marines vs. 1 zealot. If you have those 3 marines standing in a line without moving them.. the zealot will kill all 3. Microing in this situation: When the zealot moves towards one of your marines, run him back while the other 2 are still shooting at it. If he changes direction to attack another marine, have that marine move while the first marine he tried to attack and the 3rd marine shoot at it. Do this until it eventually dies.

basically, microing is managing your units in the best way for them not to die in a certain situation
