I think it was in "I know why the Caged Bird sings". It looks familiar. It's just a goofy poem, really.

Eating you has been the perfect gift.
Its been brilliant,
And Red,
And better than best,
And the wrapping is good to eat,
De-lish
And all the time
Ive been chewin you
And swallowin you,
And sometimes savoring the last bit
The most amazing part.
So Apple, jump in my mouth.
Dont even think of running
Cause I will catch you quick
Dont you run now--
For I already bit you
I am chewin
