Lol not really but made you look didn't it. Right I want to know. Using rm2k or rm2k3 can you make an online game say in two senses:

*One* A game that Me and a friend can play together over the internet at the same time. Maybe up to 4 players online?

*Two* How do you go about making one that is like an MMORPG. So you can have people playing even when I'm not online?

Thanks in advance, lemme try this trick... SUMMON

Nope. There's no event or anything that can get stuff from a server (or just another player). Can't do it in RPG Maker 2003. Maybe RM XP will have that ability with scripting - a GET variable[0002] from IP(127.0.0.0) variable[0002] command would be cool.

(And I know Tyrannicide already answered, but apparently I've been summoned..)

Lol its fun to summon. I have decided as far as game making goes to leave it for now I might release the demo of my current rm2k game to see if peeps think I should contiue with it or not but at the moment, I plan on running my dnd campaigns and turning them into games cus then I'll have a stroyline and most of the work will be done already.

Nothing wrong with that, it should turn out pretty well because then you'll know if something "isn't right"... if it doesn't work in context of a DnD campaign it probably wouldn't work in a standard RPG..

As to releasing an unfinished game - don't, unless you're not planning on working on it ever again. Once it's released, you'll have no real reason to clean it up to be released again - the first release seems to be the most important, for programs as well as games.

lol, I was showing him the proper summoning method. Yea, another program is called GameMaker. It is super ass difficult. It makes RM2K/3 look like drawing a stickman compared to a anime person.

Unless you want to spend time figuring out how to use it, it would then be an excellent program.
