problem switching patches

I've been craving some War III lately but I have a bit of a problem trying to change patches and all w/ my beta. So if I were to start from scratch how would I get it to work.
So this baby seal walks into a club.

just install then get 1.03 then 1.10 then 1.12 then 1.13 then 1.20

do a clean install and install the pacthed once again in RIGHT row
