Disc Drive problem
Reply

Ok I know my D: is not the problem because I test my other cds on it and it works, also the cd I am having trouble with also work, because I tested on my friend's computer (and it's new).

Now when I put a my new cd into my computer, nothing is showing up on my D: folder. Anyone know what's wrong?

Well for one , is it an Audio CD? Game CD? Movie? Etc...

If it is an audio cd, could be a driver problem. Need more info. What kind of CD-Rom is it (Maker, speed, etc.) What version of Windows do you have, and what Disc are you trying?

I have windows xp and the disc is a interactive cd-rom program cd....

Since I am super noob when come to pc, my cd-rom is 52x32x52x

The system requirements for the cd:

the cd-rom program requires Mpc2 standard (window 95 is recommended), 25 MH 486sx or compatible microprocessor, 4mb of RAM, 16-bit audio card, 2x cd-rom drive.... etc (rest are just key barb speakers etc)

so anyone know what's the problem?

Go to My Computer, Right click on your D: drive, and go to AUTOPLAY. That might make it work..
