Your education
Reply

Inspired by Lenny's smurfiness, I am kind of curious what stage people at Zelaron are at in their education. Still in high school? Recently in college? Graduated already? Planning to go or go back after some more work experience?

Because people like forms:

School: XYZ College/High School
Graduation Date: 2005/2012
Studying: Zoology
Interests: The social aspects of domestic elephant behavior
Future plans: Have a soiree in Africa and eventually own a Zoo for chatty elephants

Or just write it out. You can be as vague or as detailed as you want. Ok! Bye!

Studying Chemical Engineering at the community college for a couple of years before I go to the University of Utah to get my bachelors and then my Ph.D. I'm about a year away from the University, I believe. I stopped keeping track, because it depresses me.

It's difficult, it makes good money, and it's relevant to my interests.

As far as I understand, there's pretty good demand for Chemical Engineers, since not many people go for the degree compared to, say, Mechanical Engineering. That's probably why Chemical Engineering pays so well, too.

I graduated top 20 in my class in high school, went to one semester of college and dropped out due to being high all the time with a friend that had every class with me. This friend is now a convicted felon and has been in and out of jail. I, on the other hand, have a fairly decent job with good pay that I plan on staying with for a long time.

I so badly want to go back to college, though. I'm thinking this upcoming Fall semester.
