Summer Plans?
Reply

What do you plan to do this summer? I know that some of you are in college like myself, while others have regular jobs. But, that shouldn't stop you from doing something this summer.

I think I am going to move back in with my parents for the summer and get a factory job for a few months. In my free time I will hike around with friends, go camping, fishing, and possibly join in on a few roadtrips. It is also my goal to get finally get my driver's license, and get physically fit and buff up as I have always been small.

I figure I will save more money by not having to pay a summer's worth of rent here in my college town.

What are your plans? Hitting up a few concerts? Going on a vacation? Rotting in your parent's basement? Join in the conversation!

Well since I live here in the wonderful state of Florida, i'll be enjoyin the beach almost every weekend, or every other weekend...

Along with trying to finish up my car, i'm going to try and hit up atleast one Red Jumpsuit Apparatus concert while they're back in town, as well as staying on my current gym routine. Right now I am not going to college, (financial reasons) so i'm finishing off paying back my old loans that got screwed over, and after that I will be swapping back to part time and enrolling full time back in college. I'm actually excited to be going back full time, it's been too long, and I feel that if I don't get school out of the way now I never will.

Well, I wish I could say I was doing something extra special for summer, but as of right now I am not. I'll still have to go to work every weekday like normal and I've burned through my PTO (Paid Time Off), so this summer is going to be pretty mundane. At least I'll get to go to the Tom Petty concert on July 3rd. Petty is my all-time favorite artist so I'm pretty stoked about that.

Oh, and I turn 21 in July. Maybe it won't be too bad after all.

Moving back into the place where I lived a few years ago, which I'm looking forward to (there are some nice bars within walking distance). Going on a bigass camping trip over Memorial Day weekend (not quite summer, but close enough). Aside from that, working and looking for a better job.

Good call. As for myself:
  • Relocation to Stockholm

  • Game development

  • Landscape painting

  • Portrait painting

  • Mathematical perspective drawing

  • Reading (Sci-fi literature, philisophy, genetic programming and biology; any advice regarding the latter, MJ?)

  • Community instantiation

  • Instantiation of experimental websites

  • Completion of a new Zelaron theme

  • Listening through large part of the FAX +49-69/450464 discography.

  • System Shock 2 immersion

  • Sleep research

  • Travelling without moving

I will be working, a lot. Construction with my dad (owns his own business), refereeing soccer, most likely attending a class over the summer at the local university to transfer later for my degree and some wheres in there, hanging out wiht friends and drinking lol.

Ouch. I'm taking a shitty accounting class the first session and taking the second session for hopefully a high-paying factory job.

Summer football conditioning is the main focus alongside with working. Also playing summer rugby, its gonna be hectic balancing two demanding sports though, other than that no real plans. I might go to florida on a road trip.
