Post Patch 1.10 Info

I the latest number of Blizzard Insider Newsletter there are some information about patch 1.10:

"We are working hard on a major patch for Diablo II that will change many aspects of the game. We are still ironing out what we can and cannot actually make happen - there are many changes - so speaking on specifics is not yet possible. Generally, however, we are adding new cheat-detection code, changing skills and how they interact with each other, adding new items, making some older items better, and even teaching some old monsters new tricks. We have focused these changes on the upper end of the game; however, in order to avoid disrupting the flow and balance of the early play, we don't expect to see any major impact until the Nightmare and Hell levels. This patch has been a long time in the making, and we are very excited to bring the Diablo community many of the things that they've been asking for."
