Christmas Eve

Sun setting

Moon rising

Beautiful stars of shimmering light

A bird’s shadow

The light blue painted house

The small iron fence

An open gate

A chilly breeze

A small flower garden

A girls doll in the grass

Silent footsteps

The rosewood door

A beckoning crow

The opened door

A Christmas tree

Christmas cards

Three stockings hanging from the mantle

Large window

No curtains

A lifeless tree

The staring crow on a branch

A bowl of cookies

A child’s note

A picture of a young girl and her mother and father

The long dark hallway

A staircase

One creaking step after another

A bedroom door opens slowly

The cautious man

Time slows

Fear

A gun

A pleading face

The execution

A woman screams

Second door begins to open

A crying girl

The puddle of blood

A flying crow

A low-pitched call

The staring crow

Hysterical woman crawling

Over the body of her husband

Confused and weeping child

A lasting hug

A gun

Praying mother

Weeping child

A whisper

Tears

Time slows

Execution

Silence

A beckoning crow

The staircase

The long hallway

The front door

An open gate

Beautiful stars of shimmering light

Full moon

A scream

Breathless

The bedroom

Christmas Eve

A dream

A nightmare

It reminds me of something... but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

i like it for some reason. the beat like someone is walking through the house and witnesses these events one step at a time and pauses in fright or something.

it is good stuff.

Woah. That's hella depressing. Kinda scary too. Imagine that actually happening to ya. Wow...

I like it, though.
