If I was in your shoes, I'd go with the Radeon 9200. Nvidia has been having problems with their video cards, and has been writing their drivers to cheat (as in not render the whole scene) on benchmarks to cover it up.
I would go up 50 bucks and get a Radeon 9700 pro ($270), they just went down a huge amount with the release of the 9800 (they used to be like 450 I think).
OMFG you lucky ass mofos.........my vidoe card is also a TNT2 and it cannot longer run any games released since like directx 8.1
i foudnt hat at pricewatch.com the cheapest card you can get that can play all games goes for $40 (geforce 4 440 MX DDR 64MB) but i dont even have $40 =(
Quadro fx 2000 is made by NVidia
And Wildcat I believe is made be 3dLabs
I forgot Radeon's high end card, but it's nothing comparing to Nvidia and 3dLab's
Don't buy Nvidia garbage. Not only did they cheat their drivers to get higher 3dmark scores, but in a year or two ati will control the market, the only reason they don't now is because almost every has a geforce and is afraid to change brands.
It says TV-out on the bottom right corner of the box.
Also, the ATI model is clearly labeled as having TV-out.
Edit:
Hmm...that DVI lite appended to the name makes me suspicious, however. You should ask whoever you're getting the card from. As I said before, I recomend choosing ATI for the present.
Well, I know the 9500/9700 series has tv-out, and the 9600 is a slightly less powerful version of the 9500, so I would just get a 9500 if you want tv-out. I still think 9700 is worth the money though.
