ok by now you know im horrible with sprites, anyway to my problem. i found Naruto sprites that work. I made an Event to see how it compares to me NPCs. It looked good except for there was a green square behind him because its the backround color on the sprite-sheet. so do i change the sprite-sheet or is there a place on the program to fix it?

When you import your charset, you'll get a preview of the spritesheet. At that time, click on the green background to make it flash - that'll set the green as the transparent color. That works for all imported graphics.
