Problem with title screen RM2k3

I reinstalled rpg maker a million times, making sure to delete every file of it(backing up files elsewhere), then reinstall it, but it will not fix! When I load the game, it doesn't show the title screen. It just shows a plain gray background(depends on what system graphics thing I use) and the menu is in the very center, not further towards the bottom like, I think, it usually is placed.

Best guess: "Game" menu at the top, Show Title (or hit the button just to the left of the help button on the toolbar)

Nah, it's in the registry - HKCU/Software/Enterbrain/RPG2003, the key is ShowTitleFlag

My best guess is that if you don't uninstall properly (i.e. you just delete the files) the registry setting stays there and keeps that setting until you change it in the editor (or the registry, if you feel like it)

Oh...I was deletin all leftover files. It left some of the things I had made and got rid of all the stuff that came with the program.
