It's Zelaron's sixth anniversary! SIXTH!
Reply
Posted 2008-01-15, 01:52 PM
Actually, I lied; our sixth anniversary was yesterday. My connection was disabled long enough for my "later time zone" excuse to be of no avail. But no matter, this will be a year of interesting change.

Some prototype software is in the works for Zelaron, which will inevitably make you w... spend more time in our community. Certain staff changes may be coming up as well, and the works of The Zelarite will commence according to plan.

Cheers, and happy anniversary! (Or "a toast to us", although I never found burnt bread particularly festive.)

Also, I'm disappointed no-one has solved my dungeon yet. If you do, PM me.

Six years, eh? Damn. Realistically, how much longer do you think this site will hold up?

I was 15 when I joined this place... my six years will be sometime in November this year. Hoe-lee shit.

I haven't been told about any of these changes

Believe me, it's not for lack of trying. I can't, for the life of me, figure out what the hell it is, so I'm waiting for the mystery to be revealed.

How is it supposed to be solved? We can't give a correct answer if we don't know the question.

That's pretty much the problem. It's not a separate picture, so it's not like we need to save the picture and do something weird with it. I tried inverting the colors. I tried zooming in to look for patterns. There really seems to be no sort of clue. I noticed very minor patterns in it but none of them meant anything to me.

No, I was simply looking for patterns in the square. For instance:

In the attached picture, I put what I've seen so far. On the top row, it seems to be alternating between a black dot and two white dots, from left to right. On the far right side "column" I guess, it seems to alternate one white dot one black dot. The problem is, it's hard to tell, because the dots aren't all the same size. It could just be one black dot one white dot on the top row. It's quite dumb.

Did you get one? I didn't, so I think the answer is "No".

I wonder how effective the e-mails were?
