RAM question
Reply
Posted 2008-10-15, 01:24 PM
I was thinking about ordering this RAM for my computer: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...&Sku=O261-8038

I know that a 32bit OS can only use 3.5 gigs of ram, but I was wondering if this would suffice for a computer that is a couple years old.

I'm not on my computer to tell you the motherboard type, but is this RAM universally compatible?

Seeing as you're currently online, what's the make and model of your computer? If you don't know, then run CPU-Z when you get home and post the results.

You may find that your motherboard can only take two gig.
