The BIOS has an option to boot up at a certain time, not sure about shutdown.

i think task manager or just install the whytespy server on urself and ill shut it down whenever you want

If you need want use Task Manager you need to do this:

Make a shortcut of rundll32.exe, add a special command line code which i've forgotten... :/

Or use a external program to do this, try this program:

Shutdown.exe.

It comes with Windows XP (and 2000, I believe.) You can set it a scheduled task.

(Hope it works in Windows ME. Honestly, I have no idea about Windows ME.)

First, search your system for the Shutdown.exe. Then, make a shortcut, and (assuming it's in C:\Windows\System32) set the Target to:

c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 30 -c "Shutting down in 30 seconds"


You can set the timeout for as long or short as you want.

Now set it as a Scheduled Task for whatever time you want.

Going to try and attach shutdown.exe (in ZIP form) if you don't have it. Again, I hope it works in ME.
