Rubber versus a Bullet.

I'm curious how much damage a block (about the size of your average red brick) of rubber can take before it fails to hold together, more specifically against something like a standard handgun. I cannot find this in simplified terms online (I can't find this in unsimplified terms, either) so I figured I'd go here. I'm sure most of you have been shot before, so tell me what you think.

We could take this a step further - let's say a man is wearing a suit of rubber. Will it protect him against a man shooting at him, assuming the man hits the thickest part of the armor.
If you know special kinds of rubber, or want to compare to multiple guns, go ahead. The point is to find every possibility.

Why? Because gingerbread.

If it's built correctly, probably.

Very nice! And here I thought my idea was innovative.
