Creatine

Anyone have any experience with it? I've been thinking about using it to accelerate gains from lifting (aka recover my losses from not lifting for a few months). I know you have to drink an assload of water or you get cramps, but is that about it?

Not that it matters but my only other "supplement" is whey.

Almost everyone in my unit used creatine during my time in Iraq. Yea you gotta drink alot of water. You will get big fast if hit the weights a ton. Most of of buddies used it with other supplements too. I personally nox2 every morning before I do exercise and it gives me tons of energy.

Creatine is good for adding some weight. I personally would suggest just keeping a good diet with very high porportionate of protein, and use some Whey protein. I have had a pretty good run with Whey protein (they carry it at Walmart now) and I have never had any issues. I would drink two shakes a day made with a ton of ice/yogurt/bananas and a little scoop of ice cream. If you follow that program of shakes/good diet and weight training it will take you no time at all to start swelling back out.

Don't buy the expensive brands like Green Magnitude unless you have a lot of money to burn. Look for MonoPure products. It's like $20 for a large tub. Cheap and easy.
