Doesn't have to be physics, but that seemed most relevant

I guess the first option has a pro and con. The pro being that I would know everybody's weaknesses and how to exploit them and know who it would be worthwhile to befriend. The con being that since I would know everything about everyone, relationships would seem like a waste of time.

I chose the latter, because I'm curious what types of technology we will have learned or will be using at that time. Perhaps the latter is a trick option, as maybe there won't be human life on Earth at that time. Who knows...

Whilst knowledge from the future is tempting, I'd rather have the current collective knowledge as much more can be done with it.

Yes, you can put things in motion with knowledge from the future, but the majority of it will be built on things that we won't have for five hundred years, and possibly even depend solely on it. Current knowledge, however, is just that, and so could be applied to everything and, ultimately, give you the power to do anything.

Plus it would make it a damn sight easier to pass all my exams.

Knowing how physics advances are insanely important to furthering our race, I'll say the second.

I agree. It would be nice to not have to try at all and get perfect on everything you did.

Go back 500 years, would you rather have that or our current knowledge of everyone alive today. This answer is easy, the collective knowledge of a physics professor 500 years in the future is far more important than a bunch of theories in today's society. Then again, if we are still around in 500 years, I figure people will be living without signs of aging, and the population will be under more strict control. We will probably look like aliens with our heads in jars, and mechanical equipment controlling our movements.
