A question about something I am designing for someone

I am working on a tattoo design for someone, and I am supposed to make him look 'king-ly', but I don't want to add a crown. I don't think a crown would suit the rest of the ensemble he's got goin' on. Unless, of course, I could find a crown design that would work with his get-up. I have thought about doing a peacock type deal that would double as a sword tote, being as the person is a fan of swords, and I only have 1 in the picture so far. And that one is mostly hidden.

Not a tattoo I would ever get...but it's nice I suppose. A few things:

The proportion of the torso leading into the hips looks a bit off to me, both pinky's look too large for the hands, the fingers (and thumb) on the right had in general look as though they need some tinkering (The thumb looks like it comes off at an odd angle from the hand), the left forearm looks too small compared to the hand, and er...that's it I think.

I do like the detailing of the clothing.
