I've been on one of those moods lately where you go back and play old games, those games that were awesome in their day, and are still fun now. Currently, I have started games of:
Final Fantasy NES (have reached Melmond)
Deus Ex (just assasinated Maggie Chow)
Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising (taking out the sub base)
Metroid II (just entered third area--three fluid shifts)
Really, I should probably cancel payment on WoW, 'cause I really havn't had time lately...
Heh, been playing a lot of Mario Cart(SNES and N64)
Gonna start to play FFVI soon too.
Some of the old games are still bomb.
"why I've gotta be one of the cool kids just to walk by/
- without being tripped, thrown down on the ground and kicked/
Insulting me for no reason, I was treated like shit/
The teachers let it happen/
I've even seen some of them teachers laughing/
That's why I had a smile on my face when I started blastin/" - Ill Bill - The Anatomy of a School Shooting
I've been playing Driver 1 and 2...Rayman: Great Escape...and...what was it...Heart of Darkness! Haven't played that for a loooooooong time! I was gonna have a bash on Soveit Strike...but the disc is knackered...
Maggie Chow is a pawn of the Majestic 12 and was interfering in local politics. It was neccessary that I take out her whole operation. Actually, though, now that I think about it, I think she got away this time while I destroied her personal army.
For some reason morrowind seems so boring to me... i've played for like 30 minutes and all i did was go around selling pots... i couldnt get into the storyline
Well, Morrowind is a very freeform game, and it takes a while untill you're ready for the main storyline. What you should try is to go to Balmora, join one of the guilds, and do guild quests. Morrowind isn't one of those completely linear games where you rush through to get all the story, it's a game with depth; Morrowind is a game where the story is found throughout the world, and you'll only get the whole picture by slowing down and interacting with the world. There's no rush to amass great wealth and grind through your levels, because there's 3 times more things to do than you need to get that wealth and power just sitting there for the taking and another 2 if you look for them.
i just played it at a friends house for a short period of time while he was eating dinner until we busted out halo again... but im kinda intrigued now... im gonna have to borrow this i think
i have morrowind...i really like it, it's really expansive and stuff, the storyline is a bit tough to follow, but that's what makes it so sweet, you don't have to do one thing or another.... i generally like to go around picking fights and leveling up and taking people's stuff, like the grandmaster's mortar & pestle
lol
I have recently been playing super smash brothers melee, while it is not an overly old game i personally havent played it for a while and it is still as sweet as i remember it to be.
Think not disdainfully of death, but look on it with favor; for even death is one of the things that Nature wills.
I've been replaying Eternal Darkness, but that's about it. I don't have enough time to replay all the stuff I wanna go back through. Fucking job. Work is for chumps.
