Dieing Love

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

Slowly bleeding to death--partner too, and the time counts down. You're lover is next to you, laying there. Blood pouring out. He looks over into your eyes--eyes are glistened, you can tell he's scared to die, he blinks once, and a tear falls, rolling down his cheek. With one last breath, "I love" You kiss your finger tips, and struggle your fingers across to his lips--gently fondling his lips. You breath deeply and say, "You." You're eyes water, and you gaze back into his. You rest your arm around his neck, and slowly die, looking into each others eyes... © Christopher J. Hollingsworth
