Except for a minor color change for the sky, I made the entire image in LightWave. I pity those of you who still prefer 3D Studio MAX.

It wasn't supposed to look that real, it was just supposed to have a watercolor feeling all over it, to work as an excellent wallpaper.

The space between the sky and the ground makes it lose it's realism though. What about adding some little wibbling heat effects and a small touch of aqua to show distance?
