Oh, by the way, I went to the movie last night, they overbooked on purpose to guarantee a full theater, we got unlucky and didn't get in and wasted 3 hours of our lives. Oh well. Got perfect seats for Harry Potter in IMAX on Sunday.

Well, it was a promotional showing for critics and such. They overbook to ensure that the theater will be full. It makes sense, but still sucks for the people that don't get in. You must have to go really early, because we were ~3 hours early and they were already full. We had to wait to see if all of the critics showed up(they are guaranteed seats up until a certain time, and if they don't show up, normal people get their seats.) Only one critic didn't show up, and a family of 7 people got his seat. lol.

Once again damnit, you guys aren't paying attention, I only said Harry Potter. Shit I've seen The Incredibles when it came out, I watched Finding Nemo like last week with my g/f and her brother, I've seen CARS like a 1,000 times, went and seen Shrek 3 when it came out in theaters... If i wasn't so busy right now at work I could name off a million movies, but just harry potter gets to me.

I party practically every night, but I don't consider myself an adult. I would not party if I had a kid, either. And as for the big kid job, I'm going to college for that.

You're the one nutting over Harry Potter, possibly the gayest series of books and movies, of all time.

Have you read them, D3v? If not, you're being ignorant(which is nothing new for you.) You're one of those people who will bash it until they actually read it and realize that it's popular for a reason.

I know, I used to do it as well. Back before I started reading it, I would bash it like crazy, and then I actually tried reading it for myself and loved it.

D3v, try not to be so ignorant.

For a matter of fact I did have to read the second book for class.., and the fantasy jumbled b.s. that was in the first book was nothing new, just the whole fantasy aspect of being a "wizard" is simply pitiful so boring and overdrawn, and the movies make it even worse

I don't like reading about wizards, but I did enjoy the movies. The books bored me, I like to read about things that can actually happen.

I don't particularly care for their depiction of magic and wizardry either, but there's something about the books that I still find enjoyable.

I'm not entirely certain what it is.
